Why Kanyeba & Kabangele?
These are more than names to us — they are part of home.
Although many of you know us as Benedi and Augustin, Kanyeba and Kabangele are the traditional names we grew up with. They carry family, memory, identity and the love of the people who raised us.
For our traditional wedding, we chose to celebrate under these names as a way of honouring our parents and the heritage they passed down to us. We also wanted to invite our guests into a more personal and deeper part of who we are — not only the names the world knows us by, but the names that have always felt like home.
So on 12 December, we invite you to celebrate not only our marriage, but the families, stories and culture that shaped Kanyeba and Kabangele.
